Hello Everyone! This is my first official blog! My name is Whitney Daily and I am from the great land of Nashville, Tennessee. I am 27 years old and have a precious son Parker. I have been inspired to start my own blog by a fellow blogger Music City Mel. I try to follow her blog as often as I can and it usually puts a smile on my face. I am hoping that I can do the same for someone else through my stories and life events.
The reason I am calling this blog "Growing Like a Tree" is because lately I have grown a great fondness for trees. The branches remind of the many paths in life we have taken or will take. The trunk is who we are, our base, where we return when we get too far "out on the limb". We go back to ourselves in that way. I have found that sometimes I get lost out there and I must go back to my trunk, or my soul if you will.
I have been feeling very inspired lately to do and try new things, this being one of them. I will also begin working on a series of webisodes that will give people a view into my life and others' lives.
